David Hughes  > Photography > Leica Lenses
A scan of the booklet "The Interchangeable Leica Lenses" dated October 1937. Not as good as I would wish but the booklet is over 70 years old and the paper is becoming very brittle. So I was unable to press it flat down during the scans.

There are also some scans of advert's from that period and another booklet.

David Hughes > This is the first mention of the Summitar I've found and dates from the Summer of 1939. The next mention I've found is the 1941 price list issued by Leitz in the USA.

It doesn't appear in the booklet and I'd be interested to hear (drhughes@tesco.net) from any one with sales literature about it. No prize for guessing who has one on his IIIa...
David Hughes > And another mention of the Summitar from 1939.
David Hughes > Put here because of the unusual sticker about it not being for any one but dealers.
