Wide Angle Problems
This is how the picture was taken, with the focus point the centre and centred on the young lady. Then the camera was pointed up a bit to get less foreground in it.
Imagine it with her in the centre and you'll see why it was reframed. (BTW, this is a good rule of thumb) - if other people are in a picture their eyes will be at the camera level but only if the camera wasn't tilted. As soon as the camera is tilted the verticals start to converge. Look at the trees at the top and sides of the picture.
So you have to chose between a lot of floor, mud or whatever filling the lower half of the picture or else tilt the camera and introduce another problem.
